Notes: A set of three, instrumental, jazz covers of John Lennon by South African saxophonist Ratau Mike Makhalemele, known as Bra' Mike. Robot and Cloud were also with Rabin in Rabbitt. Rabin, Robot, Cloud and van Blerk had all worked on Mike Makhalemele & Winston Mankunku Ngozi's The Bull and the Lion (1976) and this mini-album was recorded around the same time, despite not being released into later. It was initially released in 1990 in South Africa, and received a digital re-release in 2018 (a vinyl rip, best I can tell).

Makhalemele first appeared on the scene in the 1960s and died in 2000. He's probably best known outside South Africa for appearing on Paul Simon's Graceland (HP, 17 Aug 19)
