Notes: This was the last Asia line-up with John Payne before Downes left for the reunion of the orignal band in early 2006. Payne had ended up with rights to the "Asia" name and in May that year a deal was worked out between the reunion band and Payne, with Payne allowed to call his band (without Downes) Asia Featuring John Payne, although Payne didn't start using the name until the commercial failure of his spin-off GPS (with Govan and Schellen).

This release preceded the first live date by AFJP in Jun 2008, although it contains the Asia line-up with Downes. Govan soon left the AFJP live outfit, with Schellen doing so later and ending up back playing with Downes, but now in Yes.

The version described above is a UK release. In the US, the same album was released 25 Sep 2007 as Extended Versions. I believe the reunion band sought to have the album withdrawn.

In 2012, the album was re-released as Live: Risen Sun (Sony International Records) in Japan with a cover describing it is as performed by Payne, Govan, Schellen and Erik Norlander (then AFJP keyboardist). Norlander recorded new parts for the album. (HP, 24 Nov 18; updated 23 Apr 19)
