Riverlink Park & Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook

The Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook is a wonderful park along the south side of the Mohawk River. A pedestrian bridge over the river connects to Riverlink Park on the other side. Both parks and beautifully landscaped, with scenic views of the river. Riverlink park also has a boat dock and snack bar, as well as a stage area. Both parks feature some really neat sculptures as well. A trail head for the Erie Canal bike trail, part of the Empire State Trail, is accessible very near the Gateway Overlook if you want to extend your walk. We escaped the gloominess and the rain in New England to come here and enjoy some sunshine and some nice views.
